Eden Nature Park

EDEN NATURE PARK

Our last stop for our Davao adventure was Eden Nature Park, this park was situated high above the grounds, a mountain resort which is 3,000 feet above sea level. According to our guide, the resort was 95% man made and covers 80 hectares of land.

From Davao City, we rented a cab to take us to the place, it was a long ride and a bit tiring since were cramped at the back of the cab, we can’t even sit comfortably. Eden Nature park was a real beauty, as soon as we arrive, we were welcomed by the cool breeze and the stunning view of the place. It was a good place to stay for nature lovers and for those who wants to find solace among them! =)

Welcome!
We took a guided tour for our visit. The price was php 200 per head and the package includes a shuttle tour on the whole park and a free meal. We were grouped with other tourists on the shuttle that we’re in. it was a slow and fun filled ride.

First stop was the Amphitheater and flower garden (take it literally), next is the Tinubdan, it was an outdoor museum that showcases the indigenous cultural heritage of Mindanao, you’ll find some nipa huts and a lot of statues around the miniature village that will show you the way of life of their ancestors, you can take pictures as many as you want as you enjoy the place. Next is Lola’s Garden, it was situated at the top which would give you a good view of Davao City. Another attraction was the deer park, we only spotted one deer during our time, the rest were hiding. After the tour, our meals were served and we enjoyed the rest of the area during our remaining time.

Since this is our last stop for our adventure, were almost out of money and already have a limited time before our flight so we took a pass on the other attractions and spent our remaining time buying souvenirs. There are several outdoor activities that can be done withing the area, if you need more information, try to visit their page:
