Eden Nature Park

EDEN NATURE PARK

Our last stop for our Davao adventure was Eden Nature Park, this park was situated high above the grounds, a mountain resort which is 3,000 feet above sea level. According to our guide, the resort was 95% man made and covers 80 hectares of land.

Samal Island

SAMAL ISLAND

Oh Samal! This island’s one of those that I consider a paradise! It has a lot to offer just like Camiguin. There are several things to do as well as places to explore. We went to this island on our 2nd day of Davao adventure. From Davao mainland, we hired a cab to get us to the port that will lead us to this place.  It took some time for the driver to locate the exact place we needed to be at, I’m not sure as to why he doesn't know? He even brought us to 2 different resorts that overlook the island. We don’t know the name of the port as well but eventually after a series of guessing, manong driver found it! Yey! Haha We rode a ferry for 15-20 minutes going to island.

Maxima Aquafun

Maxima Aquafun

Maxima Aquafun resort. One of the places I've been looking forward to visit since then. We went there right after we savored the beauty of the Hagimit falls, I think it was around 5-10 minutes habal habal ride from the falls to get there.

Welcome To Maxima AquaFun!

Maxima Aqua fun resort is of course located at Samal Island, it’s one of the main attractions and a must see spot for every tourists and adventure seekers, why? It’s because of the famed “Giant water slide”. Oh well, what’s exciting about a water slide, it’s just a slide anyway. But wait! It’s not just any ordinary slid,  it’s considered to be the largest and the longest here in the Philippines. Also, the fact that you will be thrown out in the open sea at the end of the slide makes it more exciting.
